Hello, fellow sweet tooth!
I’m Beatrix, and I own and operate Blue House Bakeshop out of my licensed home kitchen in Shelburne, Vermont. The name Blue House is a nod to my childhood home in rural Westford, Vermont - a blue 1700s built farmhouse where my five siblings and I grew up. My love for cooking started there, where I discovered the power that good food has to bring people together. I started my professional baking career in 2014 at the James Beard Award winning Flour Bakery in Boston, where I fell in love with cake decorating and all things sweet. In 2016, I felt Vermont calling me home, and by 2017 I had launched my own baking venture in my home state. I started with small celebration cakes, and quickly branched out into weddings, markets, and wholesale.
I've built my business around following my passion - making beautiful and delicious sweets that bring people together. The Blue House Bakeshop mission is to create delicious desserts and pastries that keep folks coming back for more. Whether it is a treat from the coffee shop, a fun themed birthday cake, or a wedding dessert table, we want to spread love through our community with our baked goods. DO YOU HAVE A STORE FRONT?
Nope! Blue House Bakeshop is a licensed home bakery run out of our home in Shelburne, VT. Orders and visits are by appointment only.
HOW CAN I ORDER?
The best way to order is to fill out an order form on our website here. All of our available order dates are listed on the order form.
DO YOU DELIVER?
Yes! We deliver all over Vermont and surrounding states for a standard rate calculated by mileage and time.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We use Square for all invoicing, and customers can pay with a card through the invoice link, with Venmo, or with cash or check at the time of order pickup or delivery.
DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING I CAN BUY RIGHT NOW?
